Introduction


The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, as the first faculty of Ardakan University, commenced its activities in 2009 (1388), coinciding with the university’s establishment. It started admitting students in two fields—General Psychology and Guidance and Counseling—from the first semester of the 2009-2010 academic year. Currently, this faculty, along with the Hazrat Khadija (S) Center under its administration, offers the following programs at various academic levels:

  • Receiving guidelines and policies from the university president and vice presidents

  • Supervising the proper implementation of resolutions issued by the university president

  • Monitoring the fulfillment of educational and research responsibilities by faculty members

  • Conducting necessary reviews to develop and organize modern educational methods

  • Performing research and scientific studies according to the country’s needs and relevant priorities

  • Establishing connections with domestic and international organizations, institutes, and academic centers to facilitate scientific exchanges

  • Supervising the activities of the Faculty’s Educational and Research Council

  • Evaluating and coordinating all activities of the faculty’s units

  • Ensuring the precise implementation of relevant regulations, rules, and policies

  • Taking necessary actions to meet the faculty’s needs, including acquiring educational equipment, recruiting faculty members, and addressing other requirements

  • Overseeing the preparation and allocation of the faculty’s budget

  • Receiving reports on completed tasks to inform higher authorities
